MoonShot (2025)

Charming and educational. I had no idea how much we owe to NASA's hardworking interns. MoonShot can be completed (at least one "main" ending out of the 9 available) in 60-90 minutes (I have 3 endings and about half the achievements at that time, so probably about twice that to 100% the game). If you liked the classic Infocom games and want something silly and snack-sized, this is for you.

Awesome game, really fun, lots of jokes. Was able to get 4 endings in around an hour or so. English is not my first language and I was able to navigate the game easily and enjoy it. Gonna try getting all the endings.

Having only played about a dozen or so interactive fiction games, MoonShot stands out in a positive way to me. I like the absurdism, and how the gameplay fonts and graphics directly reflect that chaotic sense of humor. The writing is engaging and I really liked having the ability to choose from a drop-down menu, which is something that is missing from older, classic text adventure games and which I think makes them pretty intimidating by comparison to MoonShot. Can't wait to get all the endings!

So excited for this game! I completed the story in about an hour stumbling upon 3 endings. The highlighted text and autocomplete features were really helpful in exploring the options and easily navigating the mechanisms of this text adventure game. I love the little snarky bits and delightful commentary. I will be playing through again to complete/discover all the options/endings. Highly recommend!
