You know what this game reminds me of, not so much a visual novel, but more like those text adventures from the 1980s where you have to navigate narrative death pits to find various endings - a text game with some nuances, such as having a proper item to progress. However, I am not exactly sure why you are allowed to keep items between the different runs, logically you would find and use them during the same playthrough, but it's not the case for whatever reason, and I am pretty sure some paths don't allow you to do that. I won't pretend that I read every page in this game, not that I didn't enjoy the writing, it just takes a lot for a game to get my attention, but at least it managed to keep me interested for 2 hours. I couldn't do the 100% completion, I found the main 6 endings or letters as they called, plus most of the optional deaths, and yet I am still missing something. The game does not have any voice acting aside from those specific endings, and I kinda wish that it did because I enjoyed those moments. I know the voice acting can also hurt the game, but it also adds to the atmosphere if done well, and those few letters that were voice-acted were my favorite parts of the na…

Well-written, engaging, great game in the classic CYOA style. Really good music, too! Creative and original...5 stars!

It feels like playing a Choose Your Own Adventure novel. I appreciate the art style a lot and the creative story. I also like that it lets you know from previous choices which ones led to your death. It's a breath of fresh air, and a fun narrative!

This game has a lot going for it! An intriguing story, multiple branches of choices, having depleting resources from those choices, a feline companion, and multiple good and bad endings. However, this game's only downfall is a big one: it's not possible to finish it. It's a fun game, but only you're able to get the True Ending achievement. The other two achievements are unobtainable from where I sit in the game: 6 letters and a score of 696. I'm not the only one, either. One other player said they reached the same point. It's too bad, this story is very good and even surprised me with the letter voice-overs. Hopefully, the real ending to this game is revealed.
