The player base declined, updates became inconsistent, and despite a relaunch, the game never regained enough momentum to sustain itself. So MultiVersus is no longer available on the Steam Store because Warner Bros. ended support for the game and delisted it after its final season.2 found this helpful
Writing a review for the hell of it - It's rather unfortunate that this game shut down, honestly. The production values are solid as hell, combat easy to learn but hard to master, and the potential roster of characters they could have stuck into this thing is crazy. Literally every single WB-owned IP was viable. That's an insane amount of content! It's also the last thing Kevin Conroy did his iconic Batman voice in before his death, so there's that, too. If you have it in your library, you can still play it locally. why did the game have to be ended for the second time bro
I remember when i bought the founders pack for this game i think it cost me about £79.99 or something. I eventually took a break from it. I come back and the games offline l0l what.
