This is an idle game that, bizarrely, requires you to play it every few minutes. The mini games are directly tied to the timer multiplier, so the worse the conditions are the longer it takes your fish to grow. The conditions of the tank do decay when the game isn't on. I thought this would be a fun little game to have on while I do other things but the speed at which things decline means you don't really get to enjoy the fish you have for very long before you're playing more mini games that grow old fast. The supposed upgrades to your tools have no information on them and don't actually feel like they do anything to make things easier. So no, I don't recommend the game. You're probably better off playing a video of an aquarium then playing this game.

Bad design. Maintaining your aquariums is a full time job (O2, temeperature etc). You think you can buy something to help you on that but its just cosmetic. There is also a lot of misinformation in the game. You buy stuff for nothing.

So, I will start out by saying that I really like the game. I've spent a little over 6 hours playing at the time of this review and I have had a lot of fun. I love how pretty the fish are and that there are so many different ones to collect. I also love the music and that there is different music for each tank. Things I think would improve the game: - Making it to where you cannot click fish through the buttons at the bottom of the screen or the window that pops up when looking at fish information. I've tried to sell fish by clicking on them, only to have it click whatever fish is behind the window instead. - Better upgrades. The upgrades don't really seem to do anything. It doesn't seem like they give you longer time between having to fix things or feed the fish. Example: I bought the upgrade that looks like it would be an automatic fish feeder, but I still have to feed them by hand. I'm not sure what the upgrades to because there are no descriptions for them. - The mini games are fun, but I think there should be a longer time between having to do them. It would be nice to just sit there at watch the fish grow, but sometime it does feel like you are constantly doing the mini gam…

I am giving this game a thumbs up only because I wish to see more from this game. The artwork is stunning and I love the "collect them all" gacha vibes, plus mini games. I like having it open as a desktop sim while I work in another tab, and when I want a distraction I can just take care of the aquarium. This game does feel like it was meant for mobile originally given how some features are blocked behind "downloadable content". Not sure what that means because there's no DLC.

(Im going to update this review as I play more) So first of all, its a great concept and just a really fun and cozy game in general. There's not an insane amount of customization for the Aquarium yet, but its an early access game that hasn't even been out for 2 weeks after all. I haven't really encountered any bugs so far either, the only thing that happens was fish food rarely disappearing in the second aquarium, but it didn't happen often and wasn't that big of an issue either. Only thing is that as you progress and unlock more aquariums, it can become quite the management simulator rather than a cozy game, but its still manageable and really enjoyable regardless. Can't wait to see where the future will take this game! Edit: Im afraid I have to change the review to negative, there have been no updates since release and theres still quite some issues, I was hoping waiting a little would bring atleast something but well.. maybe someday.
