Fina:
Congratulations, you are dead.

Player:
"I'm sorry WHAT!?"

Fina:
Wait, that came out wrong.. I meant to say, I am sorry to inform you of your death.

Player:
"Oh, gee... thanks.."

Fina:
Anyway's, I am Fina. I am in charge of your reincarnation. Since you lived a good life, you've been given the option to choose your after life!

Player:
"I spent my whole life playing video games and watching cartoons, you call that a good life?"

Fina:
Well, you spent so much time being a loser, that you didn't have any time to kill or steal.

Player:
"That's weird, it almost sounded like you called me a loser just now."

Fina:
Now then. What's it going to be NEET, perhaps you want to save a world from peril, or become a powerful king!

Player:
"I want to come back with you and live amongst all the other beautiful goddesses!"

Fina:
W-what!!
Story
My Isekai after like is an rpg!? was quite interesting in concept where you are a generic gamer who is a man of culture and plays them visual novels with the waifus and husbandos. You died of a cardiac arrest from the doritos and mountain dew and are in wonderland with a bunch of lovely ladies. Each one has its own “gimmick” because in terms of personality, they each have a trope popular to anime and overexaggerated, such as the tsundere goddess, who belittles you, or the loli goddess, which is lacking in maturity, is ok though, she is really 200 years old; and so on.
Gameplayer
Very generic Rpg style with some resource collecting. There is the “hub world” of clouds and goddesses, where you are essentially tasked with collecting 300 wood and 200 stone to build a house. The process takes about an hour or less if you rush through it, but the payoff is being able to enter a house, and be told about a vendor, which at the time of this review has not been implemented from what I surmised. The rest of the game is just standard jrpg turn-based combat and clicking to break apart resources and collect them for your promised house. That’s it, it seems sadly like the …

"My Isekai After Life is an RPG!?" is a 2D retro pixel JRPG/interactive novel that's been slapped together with the godawful GameMaker Studio video game construction kit from Yoyogames. Like most fan made/indie construction kit JRPGs, this is basically a cringey highschool tier fan-fiction and a bunch of low quality assets/sprites. This looks to have been made by filling out a JRPG template for GameMaker Studio. GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and unsurprisingly results in products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. Using a video game construction kit requires little to no talent or skill as a game developer. Very often, GameMaker Studio is used to make shovelware and lazy cash grabs, and this is a plausible theory as this construction kit game has a completely unrealistic $6 USD price tag, and was very quickly dumped into DailyIndieGame shovelware bundles to exact as much money as possible from a template/construction kit effort. Like most GameMaker Studio construction kit "games", this features lazy 2D retro pixel "art", instead of p…

What could possibly go wrong here? OCD-style gathering, turn-based combat, your own home, dialogues seasoned with dry nihilism . I mean,
"Well, you spent so much time being a loser, that you didn't have any time to kill or steal. "
? That's the story of my life, ffs

The premise of the game is alright but there's legit nothing to do. I had done everything possible in 20 minutes. Needs a LOT more content to be worth even a dollar, let alone six.
