Another great MCF game! You will need to play it on windows, I have tried via proton, but it crashes when you change location.1 found this helpful
intriguing story, great live action character actors, great graphics, lots of fun, creative puzzles, mind bending hidden object iamages.... the list goes on. Loved every one of the games in this series so far. It's a pity the one before this 'Dire Grove'in not available on Steam. And the version I downloaded from Big Fish would not work!!!1 found this helpful
I miss when games were genuinely made with love like this and not some corporate procedure like the newer installments.1 found this helpful
The doll thing got on my nerves
The production value is higher on this than a lot of HOGs-- the actors are quite fun, in this game-- but the puzzles are often introduced with no sense of what the goal of the puzzle is. I had to rely on hints more than I wanted to compensate. Additionally, a few of the puzzles were a little too much for my tastes-- several were either too long for me, or just really boring overall. Of course hidden object games can have a puzzle or two you don't enjoy, but this one seemed to have more than usual. I'm a very casual HOG player, though, so that may be more reflective of me than an issue with the game. Still, this is my least favorite hidden object game I've played, which is sad because it clearly was made with a lot of care. I just wish the extra challenge felt fun instead of under-explained or tedious.
