Netoria Tactics 2 draws praise for its compelling character-driven narrative with four playable perspectives offering substantial replayability, strong tactical gameplay reminiscent of Fire Emblem, and meaningful branching choices that impact the story. Players note the game shows genuine improvement over its predecessor and features emotionally engaging protagonists, though some mention the graphics could use refinement and the linear structure limits side content exploration.
Netoria Tactics 2, developed by Apollo Seven Games and published by TinyHat Studios, is a turn-based tactical RPG that blends classic strategy mechanics with a strong emphasis on character relationships and mature storytelling. Designed as an evolution of traditional grid-based strategy games, it builds upon familiar foundations—unit positioning, class abilities, and calculated movement—while weaving interpersonal drama and branching narrative consequences into its core systems. The result is a strategy title that places as much weight on emotional bonds and dialogue choices as it does on battlefield efficiency. Combat unfolds on tile-based maps where each character operates according to class strengths, movement range, and unique abilities. A nice Fire Emblem-style game with great replayability value since you can play from the perspective of four characters AND each one has branching options, giving you plenty of possibilities. The graphic part needs improvement but overall is a very promising game. Looking forward to more content.3 found this helpful

The exiled prince Zaman, along with his girlfriend, best friend, and a powerful witch, sets off on this perilous adventure.
Gameplay
The gameplay is typical of RPGs, with a largely linear storyline and few side quests for players to explore. However, the game features a "time loop" system, requiring players to complete three loops. Combat is traditional turn-based, with encounters triggered by physical contact. A unique aspect is that players don't necessarily need to fight enemies to progress in the story; the game feels more like an exploration-focused RPG. Each map offers multiple routes for players to avoid combat. The combat difficulty is quite high; even with stat-boosting items, there's still a significant numerical gap between players and monsters. Players wishing to directly confront monsters will need to invest heav…3 found this helpful
lots of fun! all 4 major characters are super compelling, and you can feel each of their presence in the narrative heavily which is great (esp Vashti and Zaman!) very much enjoy getting in Zaman's head particularly1 found this helpful
I have only played act 1 of one character as of this review. So I only have a taste of what will one day be, but that taste was very good. Almost every change moving from the first game to the sequel is an improvement in my mind.
Not finished yet, but what is there is great!
