About Neuroshima Hex
Neuroshima Hex is a tactical turn-based strategy game based on a bestselling board game set in a unique universe that has gained recognition among players worldwide. Now, for the first time, it's available on PC in a full digital edition – featuring single-player, local multiplayer, and online PvP modes.
Take command of one of the factions and face off against rival armies – including the legendary Moloch, a network of automated machines that have rebelled against humanity. Every match is a fast-paced, intense battle of tactics, planning, and anticipating your opponent's moves.
Step into the role of a faction leader and lead your units to victory. The reason for the fight? The classics: water, fuel, weapons, survival – everything that’s precious in a world engulfed by rust, dust, and toxins.
The game’s mechanics revolve around strategically placing unit and module tiles on a hexagonal board. Choose, combine, deploy, and activate – every decision matters. It’s a fast-paced yet mentally demanding turn-based game where good planning is key.
At launch, you’ll have access to 10 diverse armies, each with its own playstyle, strengths, weaknesses, and unique mechanics. Every faction offers a different tactical approach – from brute force to precision counters and mechanical traps.
Base game armies include: Moloch, Hegemony, Borgo, Outpost, Steel Police, Smart, Vegas, New York, Beasts, and Mississippi.
Additionally, we’ve added 3 more armies as DLC: Neojungle, Sharrash, Uranopolis.
Over time, we plan to add more expansions known from the board game version.

Digital versions of Neuroshima Hex seem cursed. Every new release repeats the same mistakes: bugs, poor UI/UX, and a generally low-budget feel, bad sound design, low quality unit images. This is just a lazy cash grab. It's especially disappointing because the core mechanics are actually very good. A solid, tactical game buried under another mediocre digital implementation.4 found this helpful
Not a very good implementation, particularly for online matches. The game hasn't been updated in a very long time so I doubt we will see more armies coming over or anything being improved - it's not even possible to do 4 player games. Only decent to play directly with some friend or practice a little bit against the AI, nothing more3 found this helpful
I give it a thumbs up because it's Neuroshima, but Portal (or, rather Trzewik himself, if you will) really dropped the ball here. When the game was at the peak of its popularity, they failed to appreciate BDC (the creators of the original mobile version) and their meticulous, high-quality work (the studio eventually went bankrupt anyway). Portal took over the rights, sat on them for a long time, let the wave of popularity die down, and thinking that bringing it back to digital would be a piece of cake, they completely missed the best window of opportunity. Now they're learning the hard way — both that the ship has sailed and that this particular "piece of cake" turned out to be quite the staircase.
A fun little electronic board game. The AI is very good if you want to do solo play.
uhh so the board game is FIRE, one of the best asymetric duel games out there. BUT this version... is unpolished to say the least. bugs, unintuitive design and no real time play.
Great tactics game. Everything affects everything... Like 5d chess. Love it
