Fast-paced neon arcade game which is extremely addictive, has very fluent and simple yet unique gameplay and you can choose your 2 favorite colors (in my case it is yellow and lightblue). Soundtrack is absolute fitting and awesome. Sad part is that it is not getting the attention it deserves. Absolutely recommended.13 found this helpful
Has the tags "Co-op" and "Local Co-op" in the description, but there is no online co-op available. Borderline fraud. Don't buy this if you intend to play this online with a friend!7 found this helpful
Simple dodge 'em up with space backgrounds and 4 different stages corresponding to levels of difficulty. Levels are random generated. Game speed gradually increase with each second making it more hard to maneuver. Two color modes + mix of both which can be swapped to get through color barriers or automatically move blocks. Dash can be used to avoid danger consisting of moving blocks and barriers. A few ships to unlock by getting specific number of points but they don't change much. Overall lack of content and simple gameplay make this one another piece of jankware.
5 found this helpful
While Nexus: One Core looks like a shoot'em'up at first glance, it's an endless runner using the top down 2D format. Avoid obstacles as the screen continually scrolls under you. The chief gimmick is that you can change the colour of your ship between blue and yellow, which allows you to interact with blue and yellow obstacles in different ways. This game is quite boring and shallow and just isn't worth $5. 3D endless runners are available for free on mobile.2 found this helpful
Tags: Casual - Runner Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Instant death trap corridor runner with colorswap gimmick. Instadeath traps can swap colors fast leaving no reaction time. Low quality overall. This is a game of limited assets, a one trick pony with dubstep music, low quality sprites, and uses lighting to display the color gimmick inneffectively, making everything have too much glare to be comfortable to play. Seems like it has not been playtested really. People mention that the color swap thing exists in Ikaruga. It is also present in Ikaruga which I believe is regarded as a classic and staple of that genre so definitely look for any quality gameplay there and avoid Nexus. https://store.steampowered.com/app/253750/Ikaruga/
Basically the game does what it says; Avoid obstacles and try to survive. You have to change the color on your ship to get through laser barriers and such. Not my type of game , I can't really hate it for that. I still do not recommend it though because of the price, I don't think a unity game like this is really worth that much.
