Night Cascades

This was cute, but the actual game mechanics are very very minimal. Mostly just involves clicking around a scene until you hit the right spot. The story, however, is great, though quite cliche. The two main characters are likeable and have an interesting history together. I enjoyed my time with the game, but there is no replayability and if you are a fast reader like myself, you will be done in under two hours. I recommend it only on sale.

This game was given to me by my bf!!!! He supports my love for GL 🙂‍↕️ SO THANK YOU TO HIM!! Anyway, to start off, the story is very simple, and I'd say it's not [i]that[/i] long or [i]too[/i] short for a visual novel. It's not the best out there, but it's still a pretty good read! [spoiler]It has a happy ending, so THAT'S A GOOD STORY FOR ME! THEY END UP BACK TOGETHER IN THE END MUAHAHAHA!![/spoiler]The mini games are more like just clicking around and such, so it's nothing worth noting. The art is REALLY REALLY GOOD!! Though, I do have to say, Jackie is beautiful, but there's something with her face that kinda looks wrong, and I'm not sure what exactly 😭 maybe it's her eyes?? I RECOMMEND!! It's a fairly simple one 💝

A nice story with pleasant pacing and great characters ! What a treat, thank you for making it

Two super hot professional women whom we get to play as. The music is jazzy, for that "film noir' ambiance, but some may find it a bit repetitive. There is some interactivity in a feature used to search for conversational topics when interviewing people that's based on the "hot" or "cold" system--curvy lines that are spaced far apart are cold and once they are closer together you are near to the right topic or tone represented by an eye symbol. It's simple and serves its purpose effectively. I've not played too long and haven't come across any risqué scenes, but that's fine with me. I'm in it for the banter and chemistry between the two main characters.

decent story, good character interactions, very solid

I rarely try out VNs but I thought this one was really well-done. The art is sharp and detailed, and the writing is paced really well. It's wordy but works through elements of the mystery and the relationship, rather than endlessly hinting at stuff (my usual complaint about VNs). The 'minigames' for the two characters are simple, but a nice break from clicking through the story. Really hope there's a follow-up!
