When Nina Aquila, freshly qualified defense attorney, takes part in her last supervised trial, she sets events in motion that will cause her career to become a casualty of a secret war. A great game is being played for the heart of Fledge City by the ruthless and powerful, one that Nina will have to uncover one case at a time.
Step into court and defend a young woman cosplaying as a fire mage, who stands accused of arson! In this trial, Anya will show you the ropes of how NALE works, while setting events in motion that will change Nina's life forever.
Several weeks after Chapter I, Nina's life is in turmoil after a costly defeat in court. Her confidence shattered, Nina holes up in her office until a visitor comes to the door - one who believes that only she can help him. A murder has been committed at the High Flyers Casino. The victim? A celebrity player of a trading card game, "Dragon Fantasy Arena", on the eve of the national tournament!
Who would commit murder over a children's card game? And why?
Surrounded by hot-blooded heroes and dastardly cosplaying villains, Nina will need all her cunning if she's to make the best of a bad draw... Or her client's going to be sent to the graveyard!
Following on from Chapter II, Nina and Dylan have been looking into the events surrounding a key trial and arrest, but the volume of evidence is huge, and weeks have already passed without any leads. Still, Aquila Defense & Law is a business, and when a person calling himself "The Jack of Diamonds" comes to the door in the middle of the night, Nina and Dylan are forced to take up his case.
Something is wrong up in the mountains. Shockwaves are ringing through the world of Fledge City's illegal street racing scene: Clara Mass, longtime racer and "The Ace of Spades" has been murdered during a race, and several other racers stand accused of the crime! The fragile truce between the street racing groups is being stretched to breaking point, and police involvement threatens to end mountain road racing once and for all!
Now, Nina and Dylan must journey north of the streets of Fledge City to the snow-covered passes of The Rostro Spire, the tallest mountain in the region, to search for answers amid the high-octane sub-culture of Touge Janken Racing...
... but some truths can only be found in the heart of the drift!

Short and sweet for fans of Phoenix Wright games! Leans quite heavily on anime/manga references for chapter storylines. Well paced, quite on the easier side for me (esp. courtroom segments, hoping future chapters focus a bit more on those? I feel like it's weird to spend so little time there given the game's theming. Protagonist is mega cute. Only time I slogged was the racing. Not especially challenging, just *very* repetitive and a little bit overused compared to ch2's minigame! Some tweaks to streamline juuust a bit might be nice to see! Overall, very strong showing, and plot threads have me eager for more! 8/10~1 found this helpful
It's short, about 6.7 hours playtime, but man this really was pleasantly surprising. If you like Ace Attorney Style games then this one won't disappoint. It has good plot hooks, characters and has some good fun with each case introducing it's own thing in the form of a mini-game. I'd say it's worth it.
Great series, if you want another Ace Attorney type game play this one, you won't regret it.
good story and minigame
This game is very special to me. It was an opportunity for me to be a royal audience of a VTuber, until the very end. So if my review comes across as biased, I apologize in advance. First and foremost, this game is one of those works where you clearly see the author’s love for the subject matter. For reference, this game has a “Yugioh” card game case, and a “InitialD” case. In both cases, a ton of work went into the set pieces, despite the murder that took place, they feel like theme parks. These set pieces lay the foundation for some truly whimsical plot developments later on, and it’s when the game is at its best. One of my greatest criticisms that looms over the investigation parts, however, is that the mini games are basically non-existent. They are so piss easy that you have to get out of your way to do things wrong to lose. This makes the gameplay feel cheap in a way. Although of course, for someone who intends to experience the story, the game won’t give them too much challenge. The court and investigation gets woven together into an insane climax, and I’ll forever cherish my introduction to the rich world of story driven games.
This is hard straight "yes or no" choice. Its basically Phoenix Wright (with all of its weirdness) if there was no budget. Its fun, for a bit, and has all the good and bad of a solo dev bring. The most annoying part is its an incomplete game. not like early access incomplete but EA level bull sh*t. Its constantly building up the story and then just ends and wants you to pay almost full price for the next chapter. No. don`t give me greedy corporate ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, just sell the whole game together. Either get on sale or with how solo dev games go wait another 10-20 years for them to maybe finish and get everything at once. It`s fun, but drags on and just leaves you disappointed
