Good idea but poor execution. Would love to see more updates and fixes but the game is abandoned. Game is very buggy. Skills in the tree are poorly worded and sometimes just don't do what is described at all. Balance is the biggest problem, most of the weapons are just worse than the basic sword you start with... Player scaling was broken, felt much easier with 4 players than with 2. Most enemies are just way too tanky and/or do too much damage. Player levels, upgrades, and abilities in the skill tree don't actually feel significant. Quest / event choices were lackluster, usually no matter what you choose you're just going to end up fighting something. There's a lot of odd kinks too like having to advance the ship twice in a row sometimes.5 found this helpful
While this game has some neat ideas in it, it is severely marred by flaws which prevents playing it from being fun. I got this game to play with 3-4 players total, and it was so rough feeling and so full of bugs, I am astonished it isn't still in early aceess.
Game Play
The game itself, when it works, isn't really a bad time. It has a frenetic feeling to it that is rather reminiscent of `Overcooked`, with everybody running around dealing with all sorts of problems. There's making things which largely takes two ingredients that suck up energy. There's the energy to deal with which was hard to keep track of and confusing because it didn't seem to obey normal rules (it also refilled every time you move which added to the confusion). There are bosses that you have to shoot with tools on your ship which varying cool downs. These are all fine. There are occasional enemies that range from incredibly easy to kill to ridiculous bullet sponges that you just die over and over trying to take down. They just seem to do constant damage around themselves, and bleed freakin' lava, because why not? The combat was horrible because you just held down your attack button and watched their h…5 found this helpful
played this game with some friends and i got to be honest it needs some improvements on fighting mechanics and gameplay, looks like a game with potential but still has some work to do.5 found this helpful
Absolute chaos and hilarity. 10/102 found this helpful
Every time you choose a shop portion of the game, the game crashes. It makes the game unfinishable and you cannot get the experience to try other portions of the game because of this.1 found this helpful
This game is riddled with numerous spelling and grammar errors, UI problems, but mainly the constant non-responsive controls and freezing which render the game unplayable after short periods of play.
