When it comes to recommending this game, especially to my close friends, I just can't. The gameplay has too many issues, such as bugs and horrible controls/input responsiveness. However, I still gave it a positive review because of the lore and story. I absolutely love the storytelling. So my suggestion is this: if you like the key visuals and the premise, give the game a try for up to two hours. If you can't put up with the gameplay, you can always refund it. In conclusion, I love this game very much, but it's difficult for me to recommend it to others.

The story was good and did a good job of exploring its themes. The gameplay between the two boys is interesting. The pressure created by the crack in the sky and the blue forest was amazing. And the final chapter was really good. I didn't like the fact that monsters can kill you in the menu because of that I died way too many times, I got softlock one time and I had a big bug that turned Morn into a ghost. Also, I got some softlock bugs several times with the climbing area of the cave. A lagspike in one area of the winter zone (the one with the train) and during one attack of the final boss even though I never lag in way bigger games. But overall the game was great, a 6/10. If these performance issues and bugs are fixed I will give it a 8/10. spoiler: I love how reg become more and more useful each chapter, it’s make loosing him for the last one even more impactful for the player. Same thing with ruben with the fast travel cutscene missing after his death. Funfact, in the last chapter I interact with the boat travel point that I missing during all the game and Morn had a dialogue with Ruben's ghost. It made me burst out laughing.

I don't really like action rpgs so I didn't really get into the game itself, but the dev's creativity and art direction is next level. I wish the best for them in their future projects. Probably the biggest thing that needs working on is the level design.
