About NOBUNAGA'S AMBITION: Soutenroku with Power Up Kit
To commemorate Kou Shibusawa's 35th anniversary, the "Kou Shibusawa Archives" will be opened in the Steam Store. Here we will revive popular previously released titles.
In this tenth round of releases, we offer "NOBUNAGA’S AMBITION: Soutenroku with Power Up Kit," the enhanced version of the 10th release in the series.
With the theme "Retainers supplant Lords," for the first time in the series, players can play as a retainer officer. Based in Japan's chaotic Warring States period, this game portrays even greater battles for power than before. In addition, in foreign relations, different foreign strategies are introduced including encircling powerful enemies with multiple Forces, forming alliances between three Forces, and much more. Also with movement and battles progressing in real time, players experience more vividly the give and take of strategic battle. The power up kit adds 3 new scenarios, a database giving officer and castle introductions, and an editing function.

NOBUNAGA'S AMBITION: Soutenroku with Power Up Kit is a historical grand strategy game developed and published by KOEI TECMO GAMES CO., LTD. As the enhanced edition of the tenth main chapter in the long-running Nobunaga's Ambition series, it represents one of the franchise's most daring attempts to rethink how players experience the Sengoku period. While previous titles primarily placed players in the role of powerful daimyo, Soutenroku expands the perspective by allowing players to begin as a retainer officer. This single innovation dramatically changes the feel of the game, transforming it from a straightforward nation-building simulator into a more personal story of ambition, loyalty, and political advancement. The game is set during Japan's Warring States era, a period marked by constant conflict, shifting alliances, and fierce competition among regional warlords. The ultimate objective remains the same as in many entries of the series: unify Japan under a single banner. However, the path toward that goal is far more flexible than before. No improvements, even be lazy to make a window mode or HD mode which couldn't cause much work. NOBU9 is the best version of the series; but KOEIlose their original will right now.
need window mode!, tried fullscreen=0 in regedit as well.
