7/10 – I arrived in West Town for a festival and accidentally became emotionally attached to tram rides, rainy alleyways, and strangers silently staring into the void. I ran a tiny shop, listened to jazz at sunset, and uncovered 30-year-old town drama like a sleepy detective with abandonment issues. Cozy, melancholic, and dangerously good at stealing your soul. 🌆🚋🎶 VIDEO: https://youtu.be/zoeUYYVoKLk Follow for tram-powered existential crises, suspiciously cozy towns, and games that turn “just one more dialogue” into a spiritual journey. 🚋✨ https://store.steampowered.com/curator/42602807-Osiris-Reviews/

NOOK FALL West Town is a retro isometric slice of life visual novel with choice driven gameplay. The game is developed by NarraTruth Games and published by GCORES PUBLISHING. The story takes place in the year 1962 in West Town, a fictional small town filled with personal stories and everyday life. The town feels lively, with many functional locations such as a vinyl record shop, a bookstore, restaurants, bar, morning and evening markets, and a coffee shop. You play as an outsider who travels from North Town to West Town. After arriving, you inherit a small kiosk from your uncle and begin a new life as a shopkeeper. The core gameplay focuses on managing your kiosk. During the day, customers visit your shop, and you interact with them through conversations. The experience gives off a calm and relaxing atmosphere similar to Coffee Talk. You sell everyday items such as cigarettes, soda, beer, milk, protein bars, and chocolate. The townspeople come from different backgrounds, including your uncle Awa, children, working adults, local drunkards, and a fortune teller named Yuan who offers daily horoscope readings. Most conversations provide three dialogue choices, and each decision subtl…

I really enjoy the whole atmosphere of this game. The music fits everything so well and the ambient noises make the scenes outside of the shop feel alive. So far I'm having a really nice time getting to know the townsfolk and helping them with setting up the festival. The journal mechanic where you choose what your character thought was important to write down is a fun one. The narrative and the characters have done a really good job of catching and holding my interest. Can't wait to see the festival!

This game actually surprised me quite a bit. I'm pretty selective when it comes to visual novel style games, but I found this to have an interesting story and a good cast of characters. The art style is unique and the music is actually really good. I'd definitely recommend checking it out. Thanks for reaching out to me on Keymailer! I'm glad I got to try it. https://minimap.net/user/cassieknight87/library/8790028

The devs sent a key for the demo a few months ago and it was a very chill time. After playing a bit more of the full game (thanks for the key for that too devs), I got a bigger grasp on the game and story and understand both a bit better now. It definitely feels like a game I'd be overwhelmed playing worrying about what I should/need to do next lol. The music is probably my favourite part! I can't compliment it enough! (They should release the OST somewhere or as DLC) I also appreciate the genres for each song being listed next to them in the record shop. My top 3 are probably "Gimme Some Time", "Come Into My Jungle", and "JUST WAIT".
