Nora: The Wannabe Alchemist

I mean I get that the game is “early access” but the bone I have to pick with is everything is so Gahdayum expensive!! I timed it actually, it takes 2 hrs just to grind NON STOP for herbs, and plants to create potions and sell them for honey and gold….just to get to an even 5k. Now I get that “you're supposed to do that, and its challenging.” But in order to get more space in the field plot you need to buy hundreds or thousands of sugar which cost 100g to buy 10. (In the shop it is titled 10g not 100g). So that means I need 10k gold for 100 sugar. And the most demanding plants to obtain are in the field….ok I get it “grind” but it becomes redundant when you are trying to expand inventory which is almost hundreds of gold or more for 10 more inventory space. Not 20 not 30 but 10. Then you use mana to “feed” the plants to harvest more. So, its timed and the mana on each plant is random, so often times you have to use mana potions to revive the plants. The mana bar goes down faster, its SO EXPENSIVE to increase mana bar. 4k-5k INCREASE just to expand mana by 5 points. “BuT iTs ChEaPer To mAke yOur oWn mAna pOtiOn fOr ThIs.” Yea, but it takes up Inventory space. So this game is still not finished. I don't know that it IS going to be finished considering it hasn't had an update in over a year. Just be aware that this is most likely what you are going to get and no more than that. That being said it is cute, fairly engaging with a fairly nice game play loop.

I love the simplicity of the story and dearly hope for it to be continued.

I tried to get into this game but it's just too boring.

if you have a Mac do not get this game, I have literally not even got to play it because it wont load, I attempted to contact the company and no response at all... lost my money for nothing...

this game is bland it would be better as a mobile game with a touch screen especially since its a glorified grinding game if i hadnt already spent hours trying to figure out if theres anything beyond grinding only to find out its essentially in game paywalled so you have to do the grinding i usually like monotonous things theyre easy to do in succession but this isnt just monotonous its anxiety inducing did you misclick on a flower instead of the plant you were trying to save guess what that spot is useless now the paying for unlocking your own garden is stupid too if it wasnt obnoxiously pricey i would have bought every spot and see if you can softlock the game by not having acess to the revival potion and having every spot filled with a dead plant
