Just as the previous 3 games in the series were it is a nice clear the road type time management game. It doesn't do anything innovative but it honestly doesn't really need to. There is 2 annoying elements on a small handful of of later levels (seaweed that stops you vikings and draw bridges that automatically open up after a while) but they not annoying enough to ruin the game. There is a total of 45 levels to solve + bonus levels. Works fine with Proton (7.0-3).5 found this helpful

I love this game.
If you're a fan of casual time management games, the pleasant atmosphere and sound effects of Northern Tale will really draw you in. I bought Northern Tales 1 -4 and I'm going to buy Northern Tale 5 when it's released. There's something simple about Northern Tale it's difficult to explain. I'm was a Brigadier General of the Southeastern Division on Halo and was in the top 10 4v4 on Starcraft for a few years, and yet I enjoy this simple game.
Fun.Wonderful graphics. Good music. Fast moving. Helpful hints at times. The time just flew past Not a heavy serious game but loved the titbits of Viking info. For pure fun and lovely bright colours plus good voice over with humour too. Total enjoyment !
