I played Nostale for thousands of hours before it came to Steam. It was, for years, my favourite game and often find myself humming its soundtracks to this day. However, I cannot in good conscience recommend this game. It is one of the most predatory p2w games that I know of, it's moderation team has a nasty reputation and, at least when I used to play, there were many cheaters, specially the ones abusing item duping. If you're looking for a new mmorpg, I recommend staying away from this game8 found this helpful

NosTale is a NosTalgia bait. This game was okay back in 2006-7 or whenever it first came out in the west. I was a child and I enjoyed it a lot, but looking at it now, and looking back at old videos, I can see that this game was a diamond in the rough. However, instead of getting polished, this game got crushed, grinded and dusted into finite powder which was then put into an hourglass to maximize the profit one could make from minimal investment into a game. It is truly a shame. I may revisit it purely for Nostalgia (congratulations), or if I actually find a decent private server to enjoy the game in.1 found this helpful
Great game just has a really boring early game. if you guys changed that and made much more enjjoyable early game content it would be great
