Players appreciate Wakfu as an enjoyable free-to-play game with engaging solo and group gameplay, particularly praising its anime-inspired world and addictive combat system. However, significant technical issues plague the experience, including severe memory leaks on the Steam version, a dark and unpleasant new interface design following recent developer changes, and a struggling playerbase that has reportedly declined since the recent overhaul. Many feel the recent updates have made the game less appealing rather than improving it, with some questioning whether these changes signal the game's

The game was half-dead, the developers decided to take it on, ruined it, but it remained half-dead. Although, online traffic has actually decreased. The new interface seemed good, but it's become VERY unpleasant to play. It's simply awful, overly dark and modern—that's a minus. Wakfu has lost its vibes; they probably decided to simply make it unplayable before shutting it down so no one would feel sorry for it.

I first watched the anime, but after playing for a while I really enjoy it! I'm only worried about the level up system, since the max is 245, but I've never played a game like this before so I'm not sure! dont trust my word on that, but the game is really fun! could easily play for hours.

I technically love the game but not only does the Steam version for some reason cap my RAM out its also very hard to find people to group up with. The game has a crazy memory leak, it takes about 10 mins of playing for the game to use 12.5GB of RAM
