I got this game when it was in early access a few years ago and used to originally to learn and test it out before a trip to Germany. It was a buggy mess then but I excused it because it was new and still labelled early acess. I came back to the game a few years now they added Russian which was the language I was waiting to be released. In a lot of ways it's even more of a buggy mess, a lot of mispronunciations/typos of basic words, for example розовый (roh-zoh-vy) pronounced as (roh-zoh-lee) and marks you wrong for saying it correctly, sometimes game freezes, or things can't be interacted with, character gets stuck in the sky randomly and have to hard reset game, voice recognition fails often, and even got rid of some features I like, like being able to practice verbs at your base. There are several achievements that haven't been fixed and wont trigger and devs completely abandoned their roadmap of feature, and languages they were going to add and bugs to fix and completely ignore any questions about the games development on discord and discussion now. They raised so much hype and attention for this game just to abandon it to work on other projects. I really liked this idea and co…4 found this helpful
Broken and stuck at the start out of nowhere, uninstalling and deleting my save did nothing to fix so i cant really recomend it right now1 found this helpful
After my first time playing, I think I can say this at least. Despite issues and bugs (which will probably fixed), I love this game! The worst part about starting a new language is learning basic vocab to start practicing sentences, pronunciation, and beginner practice materials. This game makes an interesting way to jumpstart the absolute SLOG of the initial process so that you can move to more advanced practice materials more quickly! Now to be perfectly clear, THIS IS NOT A GRAMMAR APP! You'll see a few basic sentence structures for simple phrases, but there is ZERO explanation for any of the specifics. It's a simple hear and repeat exercise with Anki style spaced repetition and nothing more. This is a fabulous tool for learning vocab in a way that's immersive and engaging, but it's just a tool. And it should NEVER be the ONLY tool you use to learn your target language. But it does exactly what it's supposed to and I will be making an effort to revisit the game daily.1 found this helpful
I really enjoyed this game, but at the biggening I was having trouble because I couldn't get past the kiosk and then I found it out. LOL but other thank that I really enjoy it, it help with pronunciation. Recommend.
How to play the game of distinguishing colors and planting flowers? When I threw the flowers on the ground and the flowers came out, the man began to have an exclamation point on his head. But I don't know what to do next. I can't even punch this guy.
