About Operation DogFight
Take to the skies in a world of conflict between humankind's best friends in Operation DogFight! Fetch up to three of your bestest friends to compete and see who the top-dog is in frantic local multiplayer action. Operation DogFight is best played with controllers, but can support up to one person on Keyboard/Mouse.
Operation DogFight is a game we've been developing on and off for multiple years, and it's overall scope has changed quite a bit over that time. In early 2021 we decided rather than continue to develop a larger single-player version of the game, we wanted to release the local multiplayer battles for free. We hope you enjoy playing Operation DogFight with your friends.
While we do not currently have any plans to add more content to Operation DogFight, we would love to continue developing this game further into our original vision. It will require significant player interest before we do so, so if you give it a try and would love to see more please let us know!
Features:
- LOCAL MULTIPLAYER - Fetch up to three of your bestest friends and compete in intense local multiplayer action and see who truly is the top dog.
- MULTIPLE MAPS - Take to the Agility Course to test your ability to fly through hoops, get in some canine canyon craziness in Jurassic Bark, or shrink down and duke it out in the Living Room! 5 Different maps to choose from.
- DOGS! - Choose from multiple breeds and pick which dog pilot best suits your play style. Will you play as Boomer the Saint Bernard and soak in the damage, or Ace the Labrador Retriever and zip around the course at high speeds?
- ACHIEVEMENTS - Multiple achievements for you to unlock!
- ADD SOME CATS - Spice up your matches with a few Cat AI planes for some truly chaotic dogfighting action.

This is in fact incredibly challenging because the game has no players for you to shoot. So, "Operation DogFight" is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! [i]The vast majority of PvP focused games on Steam are failures.[/i] Most fail because developers assume just because the game project code completes a successful build, the game will instantly and magically "go viral" just for existing. There's nothing in this to appeal to gamers that hundreds of other PvP games are already doing better. PvP games face extreme competition, PvP gamers have plenty to choose from and they gravitate to where all the other players are. Тут тебе и стремительные виражи, и головокружительные пике, и, конечно же, зрелищные воздушные бои, где каждая секунда на счету. Управление интуитивно понятное, что позволяет с головой окунуться в битву, не отвлекаясь на сложные настройки. Графика, хоть и не претендует на фотореализм, вполне достойно передает атмосферу Второй мировой, а звуковое сопровождение добавляет драматизма. Разнообразие миссий не дает заскучать, а система улучшений самолетов приятно радует. Да, временами боты ведут себя предсказуемо, и сюжет не блещет оригинальностью, но разве это главное, когда можно почувствовать себя асом неба? Operation Dogfight — это отличный выбор для тех, кто хочет просто расслабиться и насладиться динамичным геймплеем без лишних сложностей.
Very easy to pick up and go, works flawlessly on steam deck, and planning on bringing it to a furry con to play with lots of dogs! Would love if there were a team mode added in the future, but I understand that this is a free game, and updates may be scarce. 10/10 would crash into another cat head on
