We certainly needed a FPS take on the bullet heaven genre. We also deserve a lot better. The core movement and shooting is sound, with even multiple ultimate abilities and the chance of using both auto-fire and manual. Yet, it never really feels too satisfying due to the game's anonymous look, the AI going down superquick and the progression just stopping so early. You see, in other games like this there's usually a timer to beat, with increasingly tough opponents to tackle, be it 8, 10, 15, 20, 30 minutes or whatever. Here, the game never gets more difficult, with the same boss appearing about every two minutes. There is no reason to keep on fighting, because the game never changes afterwards, and by then the player is strong enough to just cruise through any opponent without effort. If you power up your fire and ice auras, you can sit in the corner and just watch your killcount go up with no risk of ever dying. While there's many stages, characters and ults, the game is always the same repetitive 2 minutes loop, with the treasure system the only way to make money that's also basically broken right now.
