About Orc Tales: Olgob The Bold
Olgob The Bold is a Metroidvania Soulslike by a solo dev.
The story of an orc from a small tribe in the Greenskin Barrens. From a blue-collar, working-class family, hunting down billionaire Bear Lords who have taken control of the world by exploiting the labour of poor orcs.
Ruling with cruel taxes up to 75% for small business owners. And letting their bear friends register companies in tax havens in the Forgotten Lands. Olgob is the Strong Orc Leader they need to come and fix all their problems.
Play and help Olgob give power back to the people by overthrowing the government of the oppressive Bear Lords.
With over 500 lines of unique dialogue spoken in complete gibberish.

Join Olgob on his journey through the Mutating Castle to collect 20 bear asses for a stranger in the woods...
That is it. This is your quest. The only quest you have in this game. Just the one. Collect 20 bear asses.

Players will traverse the Mutating Castle with interconnected areas, and changing pathways. Your world will change as you progress through the story.

Discover the origin and story of the Bear Lords and their ascension as you piece together the secrets of the Mutating Castle.

Nothing is claimed easily. You will scratch and claw to victory every step of the way. You may say it is... just like Dark Souls.

This game is all about the power of friendship. if you cannot do something alone, there is always someone who you can passively talk to and they will do nothing.

I plan on releasing free DLCs depending on how well this does.

Sorry, i expected a different game. I found it repetitive with no guides where to go1 found this helpful
i love the concept of the game, the gameplay and the boss battles, if you can manage to buy it do it also long live Blue
Solid visuals and love the goofiness. As far as I've played I'd say my favorite mechanic is the
bonk to go higher
. I'm usually skeptical with these games but boy I enjoyed it. No complicated systems either, so just the way I like it. The ONLY issue I faced: I did have a small problem with dodge rolling, where I can dodge roll THROUGH the barrier in the boss arena (at least the first one). Went past it once and had to keep walking to die and respawn. Another time got stuck inside the barrier leaving me vulnerable to the boss' attacks without being able to do much myself. Overall a solid super fun experience.
Using environment, different enemies and combat moves, nice graphics. Reccomend
Gameplay 9/10 Aesthetics 8/10 Sound and Music 10/10 Characters 9/10 Enjoying it so far. I like the difficulty level and the game playability as you unlock more moves. Good game overall!
