About Orc Attack: Flatulent Rebellion

Fart or die in this hack-and-slash action game, where fun-loving Orcs battle pollution loving Humans in a humorous fantasy setting. Orcs have become victims of brutal Human expansion, as they are carelessly poisoning the environment. Now, four trained Orc heroes are retaliating with a Not-So-Silent yet very deadly plan. In either single-player or up to four-player co-op, you will take on the role of Orcs, each wielding a unique gaseous ability, and then take the fight to the Humans in a stinky, fart-filled romp. Hilarious enemies and highly tuned combat make for a joyous experience that really is worth sharing. While the comedic storyline and the striking 3D world make it even more memorable. Gross but charming protagonists add the final flourish with flatulent group attacks and nasty killer moves for up to four players.

✦ AI summary

Players consistently report that this beat 'em up is plagued by technical issues including crashes when changing settings, poor PC optimization with lag, and confusing controls that default to Xbox prompts without explaining keyboard bindings. Beyond the bugs, reviewers find the core gameplay tedious and unfun, with bland level design, weak brawler mechanics, and a thin veneer of crude humor that fails to redeem an overall poorly executed experience that even exceeds low expectations in its disappointment.

An extremely lazy, buggy and laggy PC port. Attempting to change the resolution crashes the game. All the controls and tutorials use Xbox button prompts - the keyboard binds are never provided, you just have to figure it out. Your character awkwardly follows where you click/hold your mouse in the world, instead of working like a normal third person game where you can control the camera. The gameplay uses fairly average brawler mechanics with fart jokes riddled in. Maybe it can be fun, but the game actively inhibits you from enjoying it with all its issues.

The game is as poopoo as the orcs, it smells like the orcs in the game never buy this. the first achievement you will get has only 6.3% completes because the game is so bad that no one wanted to even pass the 2 first stages.

Despite being a low-budget beat 'em up, I was at least expecting this to be a little fun. However, from the moment we "started" in that it took multiple tries for us to even load the game so all four people could play - and my frustration was already high - the actual game is no less frustrating. It's concept is taken from far better material and the effect is equal parts tedious and lame. The design is terrible, the mechanics are bad and the few levels we managed to play were bland. Thrown in a escort mission, items you can buy and then immediately lose and leveling system that is largely extraneous - nothing in this game left me with a good taste in my mouth. In fact, I would say this is probably the worst Steam game I have come across and though I thought the concept of fighting as an Orc (who farts for power!) would be fun ala Castle Crashers or other stylistic-type beat em ups - this is a lazy, poorly designed and mostly broken game that I highly recommend skipping. Now pardon me while I hide this so it will no longer taint my Steam library.

I didn't expect anything and yet I was still disappointed. I don't know why, how, or when I got this game, but I'd rather hang naked upside down from a flagpole than ever see the game again.
