About Organosphere
Welcome to Organosphere – an epic sci-fi adventure that catapults you into the chaos-ridden remnants of Johannesburg, now ominously known as Johazardousburg. In the year 2042, a city once teeming with life lies in ruin, strangled by vines and infested with monstrous overgrown insects. An unknown virus of organic origin has unleashed this horror, and the last surviving research heads find themselves wrongfully blamed for the disaster.
As a relentless rescue operative sent from the SEV Arcadia, your mission is to rescue the survivors and unveil the cryptic truth behind the virus. The Arcadia, or "The Prawn," your spaceship hub in orbit over South Africa, will be your high-tech fortress in the sky. From its metallic confines, you'll strategize your next move, utilizing an arsenal of features that place victory within your grasp:

"Organosphere" is a very mediocre Unity asset flip, a mish-mash of Unity assets dumped in a blender then slathered over a first person shooter blueprint/template. Some effort went into making the various asset flipped weapons not work the way you expect them to... that's a comical revelation about the state of "indie" gaming right there. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $15 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product.
