Outlanders: Hunt and Survive

Feels like an asset flip. It's supposed to be a vampire survivor style game, but a lot of the design decisions are just so nonsensically bad that it feels like the developer doesn't really understand the genre. First of all, there's a major game breaking bug which is that sometimes the crystals that you're supposed to pick up to level up mysteriously have their collision hit box activated, which means you can't pick them up, because they block you from moving into them. On the one hand, it's possible that by the time you read this review, the dev will have fixed that bug, but on the other hand, it happens frequently enough and is such a severe problem that it speaks to the lack of attention to detail. In terms of inexplicable design decisions: in most Vampire Survivor style games, when you acquire an attack, it either auto-aims towards your enemies, or it fires in all different directions, which means there's a decent chance it'll actually hit an enemy. In this game, your attacks always fire in the direction in which you're moving.
