I was obsessed with the demo for this game. Honestly? Kinda' bummed my hours played on the demo didn't carry over to live so ya'll could see: I ADORE this game. I was waiting for it to come out *to buy it.* I did not expect it to be free, and am absolutely floored at Jebi's generosity. Only change I'd make to the game is being able to move the window and minimize it, and when it pops back up, be in the same spot. Other than that? It does what it says it does and it is *awesome.* I love my little space-faring cats. They make my day so much brighter.

Outta Space is a really simple idle game where I get to send a little cat on a ridiculously long journey through space. The whole thing sits in a small desktop window while the cat travels from Earth towards the Moon, the planets and eventually distant stars. I do not really have to play it in the normal sense either. I can leave it running while I work, browse the internet or play something else, then come back later and see how far the cat has travelled. I actually like how relaxed the whole idea is because it never feels like it is demanding my attention. The part I find most interesting is how my normal computer use helps the journey. Every key press contributes to the booster and mouse clicks earn credits, which I can then spend on upgrades. That gives the game a small connection to what I am already doing instead of making me sit there clicking the same button for hours. I can also buy speed and booster improvements, so there is at least some progression behind the idle system. It is a simple loop, but I think it works because the reward is watching my cat slowly get further and further away from Earth. I also like the collection side of it.
