I saw there weren't any reviews for the game, so I might as well write one up. This is an odd review, as this really isn't the type of game I personally enjoy, but I'd recomend it anyways for those who would enjoy it because I can tell it's definitely well made, especially for the price. The shortest way to describe it is "endless omni-directional Plants vs Zombies with rouge-like item drops". You get a deck of cards, passively generate mana and can discard a plant to earn more, and try to survive as long as possible. Enemies can drop items that give various effects, like crit chance, spread debuffs, or let your base Tree attack as well. There's some variety of enemies, but most are just variants of "run towards a plant and attack". Like most tower defense games, you put down your defenses and sit back to watch as they target enemies and try to hold out against the increasing swarms. For the downsides, putting aside subjective dis-interest in these types of endless arena battlers, the biggest one is the card system. Every so often you level up and can either upgrade a card, or buy a new one, but from my playtime there isn't a way to remove cards from your deck. That means tha…
