About Owys
OWYS was created to entertain and to make it a real challenge for players, mix of skill and dexterity. There are objects that need to be taking in order to unblock new game modes, also will be very important to get all the lives that you can during the game. You will need them!
When you think you have seen everything, you will find something unexpected along the 5 worlds, but it’s best to discover it for yourself.
Definitely the most important part of Owys is his real-time editor. Which will allow players to create levels, upload them and play them. You can play the levels you've created yourself or that other players have created.
If you are playing single-player mode and you have a friend or family member who wants to play Owys with you, there is no problem. You only need to connect an extra gamepad and automatically appear another Owys in front of you ! You can add up 3 players in the same game.
Also you can play online with players from any supported platform.

I really wanted to enjoy Owys — the lighting effects are genuinely impressive and the protagonist is charming — but the core platforming mechanics let it down badly. The walk/run system feels arbitrary and unpredictable, with your character randomly switching speeds mid-jump in ways you can't control, which makes what should be skill-based challenges feel like trial-and-error memorization. On top of that, the controller support is a mess (plugging one in somehow activated a second uncontrollable character), there's no way to remap controls, and the level design recycles itself almost immediately. It's a shame because there are sparks of a good idea here, but in its current state it's just too unpolished and frustrating to recommend.

This is one of thousands of retro pixel 2D platformers infesting the Steam marketplace. Run around, jump on platforms, avoid baddies and obstacles, collect hearts and things and then jump on the target blob to escape. As far as 2D retro pixel platformers go, this is square in the middle of the pack. That is to say it's terrible quality. Ugly retro pixel graphics, fixed resolution, fixed controls, no HD support. The game falls far, far beneath minimum standard for PC. Furthermore the game will be unplayable unless you own a console peasant childrens toy gamepad, there's no KB+M support despite this game being on PC.
