Pages of Time: Prologue

This is really cute for a free puzzle game. It's just a shame there are only 13 puzzles. I know that people on Steam will release the equivalent of a demo and call it a "prologue," but it is a tad meatier than a demo. The whole thing took me about an hour to finish. It's really confusing at first, until you figure out the puzzle mechanic. The actual rule is that you are supposed to use a time dilation ability to maneuver around the levers. When you reset the ability, your character stays in the same place but the levers go back to their original position. It's extremely simple, and yet without a clear explanation I could not figure it out for about ten minutes. After that, the game reminds me of "Mole Madness" on Gameboy. You want to think about the solution backwards and then you can solve it all at once. It's not hard but I did get stumped a few times. It's unfortunate that there are only 13 puzzles because the game continued to add new mechanics, and I would have been interested to see where it goes by puzzle 50. With that said, the music is beautiful, there's a nice little story and it's definitely worth playing as it is.

Cute prologue/demo with interesting puzzles and very beautiful artstyle and character designs.

I loved the world building in this game. I did have to quiet and re-enter the level because the puzzle didn't load or render. Otherwise, the lore of this story and the bases of it was soooo good. I was so immersed with the characters.

Very very good puzzle platformer indie. Pros: Amazing story about self acceptance, genuinely beautiful soundtrack and graphics Cons: Extremely unoptimized, TOO SHORT! Actually really fun and you can finish it within like an hour. Also we need a sequel (its been almost 4 years jeez)

Love the stroy, art and the soundtrack! The puzzle itself its good i think¬ I hope there will be more if it developed.

Extremely cute art style. Fun puzzles, though I did wish they were a bit harder. Very short. Overall 9.5/10 would recommend, especially since its free.
