About Panda Go

1. The game focuses on hardcore, mind-bending puzzles. The first three chapters are relatively straightforward, serving as an entry point for players.
2. It's a turn-based board game where the only thing you can control is the panda's movement direction in each turn, defeating or avoiding guards and mechanisms.
3. Completing Side A will unlock Side B, which offers a higher level of difficulty (starting from 6B, it becomes extremely challenging).
4. There is no plot related content; it's a pure deduction or reasoning game where you can obtain complete information from the initial map.

Difficulty : 4/5 (Very Hard) Global : 3.5/5 (Very Good) Curator page : Anokturnus Panda Go is a turn-based puzzle game in which you simply have to reach the exit. It looks cheap and judging by the cover, you may think this game has the same depth as a random garbage mobile game (I won't lie, I also had my doubts). But Panda Go is so much more than that. On the grid, there are guards and traps blocking the way and items you have to use. Each guard covers a certain space where you can't go : for example the dragon covers the square in front of it and also moves one square straight once you have moved, the turret covers every squares in front of it etc. You can kill them if they are not covered by another guard, but you'll usually have to dodge them and set them up correctly before. Trying things and studying the levels is mandatory especially for the harder ones requiring very precise setups (the undo button is your friend). There are currently 10 chapters, each with an A-side (acting as a tutorial) and a B-side (a LOT harder, and features more levels). There are also C-sides and D-sides but they are randomly …

Don't let the cutesy graphics fool you; Panda Go gets pretty tough. Features very friendly difficulty curve as new mechanics (in the form of guards & traps) are introduced. Level design is clever and the combinations of guards & traps synergise well to create layered challenges. Panda Go is a clever turn-based puzzle game. Puzzles are all logic based but take patience and forethought. Some clunky moves but great range of guards and trap mechanics & well-designed levels. If you've never played anything like this before, the goal is to reach the finish line by moving over nodes. Each step you take causes the obstacles to move according to their own rules. Some will simply stand still, while others will move about or turn. The only rule is to avoid getting caught on their path. Fortunately, you can simplify things by taking them out by coming from behind. That's the basic principle, but each subsequent chapter adds something unique. It could be something in the surroundings, like bushes to hide in, or a new enemy. Everything may be reviewed in your notepad or by just clicking on it; each opponent has a description and a video that shows its behavior. Each chapter contains ten stages. The stages aren't too difficult because the deadly nodes are highlighted, plus there's an extremely useful undo option. Although beating a level is good enough, you can attempt to accomplish it in as few steps as possible to earn maximum three stars and a golden highlight over the stage. The number of stages is very decent and will keep you busy for hours. However, there’s a lot more hidden underneath because chapters comes with three additional packs with even harde…
