The first 10 worlds in Panoramical’s base game are truly excellent—relaxing music and ever-changing landscapes. But the real fun begins after the credits roll. You unlock access to 3 new worlds created by different artists. One of these is by George Buckenham and Jukio Kallio, and it takes the game to the next level. Like the other worlds, there are 9 channels to adjust the music, but here, each channel contains multiple samples that can be further modified—and there are a lot of them. Visually, you’re treated to a street scene scrolling past, evoking brutalist architecture. As you tweak the sounds, the scenery transforms—filters, glitches, overlays, and color shifts create a mesmerizing experience. The music and visuals are mind-blowing, with so many layers that every playthrough feels completely different. Additionally, after completing the game, you unlock an inverted version of all the worlds, which than sound and look slightly altered. Unfortunately, the game was a financial flop, so there won’t be any mods or DLCs. Such a shame—it had so much potential.

music and hallucinogen-users rejoice...this game seems to have been designed exclusively for psychonauts and day-trippers. when i was a lad, i remember wishing that there was some kind of software that would better assist me control the nature of my psychotropic-fueled innerspace explorations...now, however, its a great tool for adjusting moods and meditation...the power and utility of such software is not to be underestimated because despite my tongue-in-cheek statements above, i could ALSO see the utility of this tool in therapy and learning for those individuals that are neurologically divergent.

Interesting little art piece that I enjoyed my time with - not truly a game, to be clear.

Really unique game. Well, it is not actually a game. It is audio visual experience. There is not a lot of gameplay. You just adjusting couple of parameters to you liking and enjoy result. Some levels feels more interesting, than others but overall, it is a blast. If you like trippy visuals and music you should definitely experience this.
