In German, there's the word "Gesamtkunstwerk." It is used to describe a work which, in its full totality, is truly artistic. It combines several media and forms of art to express the full vision of the artist in a way that simpler works cannot do. This is to say that Pastry Lovers is the pinnacle of human art. Indeed, it perfectly encapsulates the human condition. In some sense, Pastry Lovers provides humanists with the answer to their core question: "What does it mean to be human?" To have ambition, to struggle, to be conflicted, and to persist in the name of that which you care for the most. Pastry Lovers is not a visual novel, nor is it a game. It is a mirror. I play a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ games with my friends for fun, and this one wasn't even interesting ♥♥♥♥♥♥ enough to be fun. We killed ourselves on purpose. This is a dating sim where like?? You BARELY talk to any of the love interests?? At all? What??

Can't say I'd of dated anyone in this. The writing suffers from some poor translations in English, but you get the gist. Can't say I was particularly enthralled throughout the experience, but I think it'll be appealing for visual novel/dating sim fans.

Not going to sugar coat this, the game sucks, even for a genre which i hate, its worse for the glitches that i saw which were only a few but there is like no interesting things happening. also it is told by a girl's perspective to like a guy, which is gay.
