About Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - Enhanced Edition
Lead a customizable hero through a demon-infested realm in this deep Pathfinder RPG where your choices reshape the world and your companions' fates. Command armies in tactical warfare, master nine mythic paths that grant reality-bending powers, and choose between real-time or turn-based combat as you pursue your personal crusade against otherworldly threats.
DISCOVER THE STORY
Your path will lead you to the Worldwound, where the opening of a rift to the Abyss has unleashed all-consuming terror across the land. For over a century, the neighboring nations have fought fearlessly, trying to drive the enemy back — but to little avail. Now, you have the chance to put an end to this conflict, but the path to salvation is far from clear-cut. Will you become a shining angel, backed by noble paladins? Or a powerful necromancer with hordes of immortal undead in your thrall? Or something else entirely? Lead your army and challenge mighty demon lords. Your crusade will set in motion a chain of events that will leave you — and the world itself — forever changed.
PLAY YOUR HERO, YOUR WAY
Create any character imaginable with the flexibility, richness, and depth of the Pathfinder First Edition ruleset. Choose from 25 classes, 12 character races, and more than a thousand spells, feats, and abilities to suit your personal playstyle.FOR EVERY CHOICE, A CONSEQUENCE
Your decisions have more weight than ever before. Your goal is clear, but you must forge your own path to it. Who will die, and who will live? Who will stay, and who will go? Make your choices, and watch the world around you change.A NEW WAY TO FIGHT
Enjoy two combat modes as you slay your enemies – real-time with pause or turn-based. Switch between them on the fly, so you can always take things as slowly — or as quickly — as you like. The unique Pathfinder ruleset also allows you to perform advanced combat maneuvers, like mounted combat. Use them wisely!GATHER YOUR PARTY
A cast of more than 10 unique companions is ready to join your cause. Earn their trust and respect, and they will have your back no matter what dangers lie ahead. And if you get on their bad side, well… Maybe it’s time to part ways.LEAD THE CRUSADE
You will need much more than a party of adventurers to cleanse the land of its demonic scourge. Take command of the crusaders and lead them to victory – both as a strategist, controlling the battle from above, and as a field commander, in a new tactical combat mode.CHOOSE YOUR PATH
Explore nine unique Mythic Paths: obtain extraordinary abilities and shape everything that comes next. Your decisions might transform you into a celestial Angel, a raging Demon, a powerful Lich, a cunning Trickster, an otherworldly Aeon, a rebellious Azata, a wise Gold Dragon, an insatiable Swarm That Walks — or remain mortal and walk the arduous fantasy path toward becoming a living Legend.DLC & expansions

Relentlessly buggy and obnoxiously filled with pointless micromangement for practically everything. Half the stuff doesn't work the way you expect it to. Most of the party members are annoying and frankly kind of dumb with eye rolling personal quests filled with mine fields of dialogue choices that destroy the questline for little to no reason if you pick the wrong option. To do anything, feels like you need a guide. Probably the most insane to figure out secret ending that from what I understand, took people prying apart the game's code to figure out how to do it. Trying to get this game to work almost feels like a job. My breaking point was coming back after a break and trying to respec my character, going through the whole process for 20 minutes carefully selecting all my options, hit the complete button....and it just doesn't work. Did it a second time, doesn't work. Why? Who knows?!?!? And that's the story of this game1 found this helpful
i'll start with the negative traits of the game: From my perspective, the game sucks—and I'm only talking about the early game here. -Attacks miss constantly. -The game bombards you with walls of text—dialogue you have to read like it's a full-blown novel (apparently, some people actually like that). -It's full of bugs. -Mission objectives aren't clear at all. -Do I really need to talk about the Crusades? -Enemies are five times stronger than you; despite all the debuffs you apply—and the ones they have by default—they never miss an attack. -Equipment progression is non-existent; I'm still using the same weapons from the start of the game even in later acts. -The game could easily have included a multiplayer feature to make things more exciting, but they left it as-is, missing a huge opportunity. -The turn based gamemode is very often bugged and the real time one is only usable with VERY small fights -too much to read even in tutorials and spells descriptions that could easily been simplified -the rewards for completing things are Deluximus ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. There are plenty of other things that are absolutely awful Big Chungus deluxe ♥♥♥♥ but I'll restrain myself. i may …1 found this helpful
If you love Dungeons & Dragons games, you'll love this one too. Worth buying at any price.
Ended up being one of my favorite party based rpgs of all time. There's just so much content, leveling characters takes so long because of all the build options. It can be tedious at times, but it keeps me engaged every time I open it again. I cannot wait to see what owlcat makes next.
Cute Succubus GF. What more could you want? Short version: Very very very steep learning curve, very complex and multi-layered but fun build/combat system. The story is great, the immersion and role-play is incredible, and the characters are mostly great too, though some are insufferable, Lann, but that's what the Evil route is for. A game tagged 'Choices Matter' where the choices ACTUALLY MATTER! Cute Succubus GF. Now the long version: Firstly, if you have no experience with cRPGs or Tabletop games, this game is hard, like really hard. The only other games I've played similar to this was Baldur's Gate 3 and Divinity: OS2, and I still got extremely confused by all the classes, mythic paths, spells, buffs etc. There are SO MANY options in character creation, both combat and roleplay, which can be both a good and bad thing. There are so many different spells, feats, combat-styles, builds etc. that you can spend hours on the entire character creation screen, and thrice that amount leveling up your character, just to realize the classes don't actually make a difference outside of combat, which is just the same 6 people whacking sword and shooting arrows. The point is, the …
