Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - Enhanced Edition

Completely over-rated story; Almost as bad a BG3. Want to be a spell-caster? You only get one spell per rest, while random encounteres are all over the place, forcing you to stress out about when to use your precious spells. And when you do finally rest, your camp is always attacked by wandering mobs. Your HP doesn't slowly replenish after each battle either, forcing you to constantly rest, and get interrupted by enemies. The spells should have a cool-down timer, not one use per rest. Very frustrating system. And don't even get me STARTED on the ridiculous amount of far-left political content forced into this game. Final verdict: It's an over-rated game. Nothing special.

can the tooltips not be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wall of text to describe a simple spell? like the important common info should be in bullet points or something, in a consistent location. actually, a lot of common info is in a common location, but why not damage and its type? and only use paragraphs to describe the actual complex parts of the spell, and/or in addition to the common info.

i thoroughly enjoy the characters, im enjoying the story. but the game is so trash. combat is just unfun. and it is so tedious to do anything. you HAVE to min/max. and some characters are just bad, nenio is just unfun to use. ember feels bad because the late game (act 3+) enemies have such inflated stats that you cannot do anything. the game is such a chore that you HAVE to have like 70 buffs running at all times that the game just becomes unfun because you are more spending so much time on the fact you have to drink potions and doing 70 buffs EVERY, F***ING, DOOR, otherwise you just get heavily stat checked. this games NEEDS to be relooked at with the difficulty. because even on *story* mode, im facing enemies with BAB 35+ that hit no matter what, and have 50-60 AC which you cannot hit unless you get a nat 20, and even then you cannot hit unless you roll that nat 20 AGAIN, because of the lame ahh "confirm crit". also the fact *story* only reduces AC by 4? LMFAO. 55-4 is still a 51 and unless you have a 41 BAB you arent hitting ANYTHING reasonable without doing chores. i will recommend this game. but if you are not a fan of playing a heavily chore of a game and actually wann…

I like the game mechanically. The problem is I'm not particularly attached to any of the characters. Act 1 works well for a blank protagonist, and every act after has just been me asking why from the perspective of the mc protag. The story didnt do a good job telling me why I as a player and as the character should be emotionally attached to the premise that is going on. It goes from A1 where am i, survival, to A2+ your suddenly commander of a army, and the only plot point being because your mythical and queen said so. The companions. There's literally too many, there's not enough dialogue with them, plot points or even banter to make me invested into them. Half of them come late and already half leveled so its a crappy build vs what you already have going with your existing team. I have spent more time fixing/respec my character than story play because the story hasnt gripped me in a way that different CRPG's have. Im just trying to slog through the finish at this point.
