Fun game, but with a caveat: it is impossible to 100% the game due to a glitch on the last level (Feather Theatre). The moving platforms move THROUGH the obstacles placed in their way as part of the puzzle, so one of the objects that is supposed to give you 5 cubes from an otherwise impossible-to-reach location drops down to the ground immediately, which means you can never get those cubes and thus cannot 100% the level. There is no apparent way around this. On the plus side, some of the puzzles are easier with this glitch :) Aside from that it was a lot of fun for two people in couch co-op. Too bad the devs appear to have abandoned this game -- the last update was several years ago.

This game is a perfect family game. As a family of 4, we are always on the lookout for great steam games we can pipe to the TV, grab our controllers and go! Piled Up ticks the boxes for us - only complaint is we wish there were more levels! Just under 5 hrs of game play and we have completed the main 'story', as well as playing the arcade games we have unlocked. Now we will be back to clean up the levels tracking down collectables and opening/completing some of the star areas (bonus spaces unlocked by finding the rings in the game). Game play is straight forward. All puzzles fairly easy to get through, as there are no penalties for falling to your doom. May have carried our youngest across just a couple of sections after he failed several times - but you just grab a box and go! The 'tool' boxes were great fun - sticky tongue, jet pack, fire extinguisher to name a couple - kids generally grabbed those to play with and carefully carried them from room to room piling larger and larger stacks. Parents (us) occasionally getting yoinked by the sticky tongue boxes just added to the fun! We got this on sale - possibly the game is a bit short to pay full price. Haven't played the game sol…

Pile Up! Box by Box, developed by Seed by Seed and published by HandyGames, is a cooperative 3D puzzle-platformer that embraces simplicity and creativity as its core strengths. Set in a handcrafted world made entirely of cardboard and paper-like materials, it delivers a relaxed, family-friendly experience centered on teamwork, exploration, and playful problem-solving. Rather than focusing on difficulty or technical mastery, it prioritizes accessibility and shared enjoyment, making it approachable for a wide range of players. The gameplay revolves around controlling small box-shaped characters known as Boxlings, who can lift, carry, and stack objects to navigate the environment. This central mechanic is both intuitive and flexible, allowing players to build makeshift paths, bridges, and platforms to overcome obstacles. Most puzzles are designed with multiple possible solutions, encouraging experimentation rather than rigid problem-solving. This openness gives the game a creative feel, where players are free to approach challenges in their own way rather than being guided toward a single correct answer. Cooperation is at the heart of the experience. While the game can be played sol…

Extremely short and surprisingly unsatisfying. Also the physics barely worked and could often be cheesed

Played solo. Fairly short with just 4 levels; 5 if you include the hub. But they are challenging solo, especially if you are looking to get everything. Worth the money if you get it on sale.
