I played it years ago and spent a stupid amount of hrs on it, i've came back to it after seeing it on steam, its changed alot since i last saw it but the core game is here, if you enjoy quests and character progression give it a go, it did take me a bit to get used to the controls again. There is alot to do in the game and the best part its free, give it a go. It will take many hrs to experience everything in here.

I played the game a ton back in high school, but honestly, you should avoid it. It's been developed for literal decades and has had plenty of drama. The biggest I ever remember it was during community roleplay events (the game is roleplay-enforced; no one ever played on the non-RP servers) was around 120 people around the early 2010s. It seems to rarely break 20 players now. Even outside that, the game was full of bugs, convoluted progression systems and tedious grind. Cool world, neat ideas, but shoddy execution, and you can't imagine how much worse it is now that they ported to unreal and are using AI for VO.

Incredible project made by volunteers! It's a lot of fun to explore and see its evolutions. It is not a commercial game, the quality is obviously lower than a modern game as this is not funded by anyone, but it has deep lore, quests, different cities and outdoors to explore. I suggest it to anyone. This game remains a piece of history in gaming. I played it also outside steam. Community is nice, and easy to get along, they are interested in new players, so if you hop on you will get good vibes and support. Will be nice to add Steam achievements if possible.

First impressions are solid. It's an old game that's been updated a bit and seems to have a passionate community keeping it alive. It's comfy, like a worn shirt or pants that feel just right and simply "fit". It's that, in large part. It retains plenty of the old and contains some of the new. Being an older game, it's not one that you'll be speed-running anytime soon; at least, not on your first go. It really does retain a lot of charm; and for me, for now, that's enough to give it more attention.

Full of bugs. inventory items sometimes delete themselves if you move them. starting stamina, 299, isnt enough to complete the tutorial quest for blacksmithing so that starter quest was softlocked by default. Softlocked in the tutorial when Xenak or whoever responded to my dialogue but failed to take me to hydlea, GM didnt respond to my petition within 30 minutes so my only options are to delete my character and make a new one hoping the tutorial doesnt bug again or go ♥♥♥♥ myself and delete this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ waste of time, dont play
