About Planetary Dustoff
Planetary Dustoff is a space-themed roguelite shooter. Go on a death riddled journey to sprawling alien environments and fight your way through hordes of enemies and epic boss battles. Take part in the revived Planetary Survey Program aboard the Space Station and help the Space Faction find a new home for humanity. Expand your Space Station with helpful allies and recover suits with special powers to choose from. Explore unique environments and delve into over a 100 different weapons and items!

It's a decent game if you buy it with 90% off (as I did). Otherwise it's not worth the asking price, that's why thumbs down. It's a very short game and not very polished (needs a whole lot of tweaks to fundamentals, like hitboxes and also a lot of balance finetuning). But at least I didn't encounter any bugs. I absolutely love anything Vampire Survivors-like. Or so I thought. This isn't exactly that, but I don't feel the issue isn't that the game has its own twist. Instead, I felt like the gameplay was more about gunplay than strategy & player choice. Not my cup of tea. +Cheap +Functional aesthetics -Simple; boring; not engaging enough for me -Not enough player choice = Neutral review. I actually don't recommend this game. It has atrocious lag/stuttering because it's coded so jankily. I would refund this in a heartbeat but I only paid $1 so the dev can keep it because it was fun enough for an hour but it's pretty thin.1 found this helpful
Planetary Dustoff is an indie roguelite shooter developed and published by Rymdfall AB. Set in a distant future where humanity is searching for a new home among the stars, the game places players in the role of an explorer working for an organization tasked with surveying alien worlds. Earth’s resources are dwindling, and humanity has begun sending expeditions to distant planets in hopes of discovering new habitable environments. The player becomes part of this interstellar effort, traveling across hostile planets to investigate unknown ecosystems, eliminate dangerous creatures, and gather resources that might help secure a future for the human race. The story itself is relatively light, functioning mostly as a framework for the game’s exploration and combat. Rather than focusing on cinematic storytelling, the narrative unfolds through the premise of planetary scouting missions and the gradual expansion of a space station that acts as the player’s base of operations. Each expedition into an alien world contributes to the larger mission of humanity’s survival, creating a sense of purpose behind the repeated journeys into dangerous environments.
