Planetary Life

I’m ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ recommending this game. Easily. The best part of Planetary Life is honestly just watching life evolve. You can start with one tiny blob, fungus, plant, whatever, fast forward a few hundred years, and suddenly the population has doubled or tripled depending entirely on the environment you made. That’s what makes it cool. You can have a hot-ass planet where life barely survives, or an ice planet with one tiny patch of water where somehow something still manages to evolve. Every world feels different because the environment actually matters. I have about 14.3 hours right now, I’ve gotten every achievement, made several worlds, and I pretty much understand how everything works. It can be a little challenging when you first start, but the game basically shows you what everything does and then lets you ♥♥♥♥ around and learn it yourself. One of my favorite moments was when I made a world, got some basic life going, alt-tabbed, and just let it run. When I came back thousands of years later, there were actual forests visible from space. I zoomed down onto the planet and most of the creatures I remembered were either extinct or had evolved into completely different things. T…

I LOVE THIS GAME. I GOT ALL 22 achievements in 2.5 hrs and it was so worth!!! Both modes are fun and I love seeing the dev posts showing how the new features are gonna be implemented! My favorite mechanic was having to unlock Fungi to use them, It really made you think! :3

This has some potential. Initially I had on idea what was going on. Unsure if there was a tutorial, or the acheivements guide you somewhat. It is a bit of a learning process, which is the fun part. Evolving things and seeing the result. There is, I think, an order that you should do things, I am going to try a few directions and see what happens. The graphics and creature animations are fun to watch as well. For sure everything you create can be one of a kind, so there is lots of variation in your creations. There are a couple issues, like size of creature does not seem to affect attacks. Big creatures should not find the very small attractive to eat. Which also brings up the other issue, multi creatures in one location. The very small should fit in an area where there is a really big creature. For sure some future enhancements to be considered.

Very cool, look forward to future updates. Everything effects everything, learning curve to getting things right. Loving every moment though.
