"Playtime with Hoogie" is a low key asset flip, a bunch of other people's assets assembled badly to make a basic game, typically this kind of thing is done by amateur developers without sufficient budget, talent and/or staff to do the job of game development professionally. It's then quickly rushed into Steam Direct. And, unsurprisingly, this never results in a product with any quality, interest, or value for gamers. This is a low effort first person horror jumpscare asset flip where you run around a simple map full of asset flipped trees, collect keys before you get jumpscared. There's just one lazy, badly slapped together map. Nothing goes better together than lack of ambition and the laziness that inspires asset flippers. There's literally thousands of these on Steam, and this is one of the worst... it's very lazy and amateurish. So, the game might look better than you'd expect from an amateur project, but this is because it's partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" from asset stores and free asset websites. The gameplay of this game is very diverse, to master this game is not only to fully understand the mechanics and skips, but it is also to be one with HOOGIE. (All-caps when you spell his name) This game is masterfully crafted to not only be a once in a life time experience, but also a incredibly accepted addition into the "indie mascot horror" sphere. So, if you ARE to play this game, please do it with upmost respect, and cherish having this masterpiece in your library. Because Playtime with HOOGIE is an experience you will NEVER be able to play back the same way ever again.
