This game deserves way more attention. Every game is so chaotic, and there are so many things you can do and ways to win, and I haven’t even unlocked half the stuff yet. The fact that it’s a 12-player local is rare. There’s even a pretty robust campaign mode if you only want to play solo. They did a great job theming the game to make you feel like a pirate. A sequel would be awesome, but I know that will never happen. If you’re on the fence, just buy the game.1 found this helpful
The best team-based local multiplayer game! Spiritual successor to Killer Queen (Black). Balancing defense/offense between the different win conditions is frenetic fun. The combat's tight and it has charming pixel art. And it supports up to 12 players!1 found this helpful
This is an outrageously fun local multiplayer game! There's also a single-player campaign mode with some amusing dialogue, but the party game aspect is where it really shines. My kids and I have played 14 hours of it in less than a week. The asking price is honestly a steal. It took us a few rounds to really get a handle on how to move around the screen effectively and the different ways to win a match, but it's been a blast ever since. I'd definitely put it up with Towerfall and Boomerang Fu for great single screen party games.
Highly recommend as a killer queen fan (RIP)
i may soubd insane but... what about plunder panic 2?
This game is like Killer Queen, except pirates, and more modes, and more fun!
