About Pluto
A roguelike deckbuilder where you fight with your fingers, spill some blood, and try to make it to your niece’s birthday on time. You’re a wizard. A not-so-heroic wizard imprisoned for wizard crime, awoken from your wizard slumber by an invitation from your niece. Escape from jail and traverse a hostile world crawling with danger. Every turn is a frenzy of spell sigils, cracking bones, and desperate gestures as you shred through monstrosities with raw elemental power. You’re not the chosen one, you’re just trying to be a good uncle.💀 Master Tactical SpellcraftThis isn’t your usual “play the biggest card” deckbuilder.Every spell is built from elemental patterns cast directly with your fingers. Recipes can overlap and combine, sparking strategies that reward clever play and experimentation.
You’ll discover emergent synergies not just in what you play, but how you cast it — turning each turn into a high-stakes puzzle full of risk, reward, and happy little accidents.🩸 Gory, never Grim

tldr: I both loved the game and hated many parts of it. If you like deckbuilding roguelikes and you like the art, its worth buying in a sale. If you don't like the art, the deckbuilding part is lacking in true variety but still bearable. After finally finishing a run for each character, I was both very impressed and unimpressed by the game. I love the artstyle, the music, even the idea that these ancient wizards are going to their niece's party amidst the most horrible looking world ever. I hated that although each wizard has different spells, passives, and even the order you had to place your spells in hand, all the wizards pretty much needed the same items (specifically badges that would give extra draw, armor, and damage rings). Aside from the paladin and the flame knight, I pretty much only used armor or damage rings. I really wished there was more boss variety too, especially after beating the game at least once.34 found this helpful

A Fun and stylish deckbuilder. Core game is great, would love to see it fleshed out a touch more, in particular more writing and a even just a slightly more satisfying win screen.
Very ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool. Make lots of wizard money doing wizard things. Cast spells with middle fingers up. Trip out. Playing this game may keep cause one to keep one's partner up do to do immense excitement generated by the aforementioned cool wizard ♥♥♥♥. Buy this game. Cast spells.

Fantastic game with great art. Started out as a great experience and got a lot more support and updates. One of the best wizard games out there.
