✦ AI summary

Players generally love the core roguelike deckbuilding gameplay, praising its unique card mechanics, appealing art and music, and addictive fun factor that keeps them engaged for hours. The main complaints center on unclear presentation and description writing that requires consulting guides to understand what's happening, along with some finding the sound effects grating enough to mute the game entirely.

This one really grew on me. First run was a mess. Even though it was a win, whatever happened on the screen didn't make much sense. Abilities triggered, pawns moved, VFX flashed, numbers went up. Between fights I just clicked through all options, chose whichever was worded clearer, and started the next battle. Dust settled, I decided to open the Guide, and then the Codex, to get the idea of what I was doing. The descriptions, while definitely written in (or translated to) English, were anything but plain. They could certainly use a round of proofreading/rewriting. Guide read and reread, I headed to my second run. This time it was much easier. Likely it had to do with the fact that the second hero you unlock has a passive ANNIHILATE ALL SCREEN ability, which triggered upon receiving damage. By the third round I was confident I'd complete the game, at least until all achievements are done. Now, more than 10 wins in a row, I'd venture to say that Cubic Cosmos is on the easier side of most roguelike deck builders. It can be punishing if you don't choose the strategy early on, but really anything can work here. Just stick to a Keyword or a specific Minion type,…

Bought this on a whim, love it spent 10 hours on it when i bought it before i realized it. The art and music is really appealing as well. The cards are unique and enjoyable to build around. well worth it given the price point.
