About Poly Backrooms

Poly Backrooms is not your typical horror game. Its cartoonish visuals and playful design elements create a stark contrast with the underlying horror, making for a truly unique gaming experience. The game is filled with countless identical rooms, each with their own set of challenges and puzzles. But don't let the fun aesthetics fool you - the further you venture, the more dangerous it becomes.
Poly Backrooms is filled with diverse and entertaining puzzles. From simple to complex, these puzzles are designed to be solved both individually and cooperatively. The solutions change with each new game, ensuring that no two playthroughs are the same.
We're committed to making Poly Backrooms the best backrooms game out there. We have plans to add new entities, levels, puzzles, and items, as well as improve gameplay and add language localization.

Join us in Poly Backrooms, where fun meets fear, and every corner turned could lead to laughter or screams!

If you're looking to buy a backrooms game, please for the love of god, look for something else, this game is the definition of ASS. Usually these backroom games on steam you can have fun with, either that be playing with friends, having some fun on your first playthrough, and they can be pretty fun to go back and replay/speedrun. But not Poly Backrooms, this game has some of the worst AI I've ever seen in a game, and worst of all, it's so boring and such a slog to play through. I can't even imagine playing this game by yourself, I played with a friend and we still found it super boring. If you're looking to 100% this game, there's an achievement where you need to beat a level 20 times, and with this game being boring, it's such a slog to do that. Me and my friend could legit only do 1-2 runs a day, after that we'd just quit throughout the next run because we'd get so bored and frustrated out of our minds. I know this game is in early access, but this game really should've been developed a lot more before releasing it to the public, especially with only three levels, and TWO enemies. I'll give the game this, the first level was pretty fun to play for the first time, but when you e…

Having sunk a solid 10+ hours into Poly Backrooms, I can confidently say this is one of the most unique and captivating multiplayer games I've played in a long while. At first glance, its cartoonish visuals and playful design might lead you to think it's just another lighthearted game, but it masterfully marries the realms of fun and fear in a way I hadn't thought possible. Each room, despite looking similar, brings its own set of intriguing challenges and puzzles that range from delightfully simple to devilishly complex. Playing with others only amps up the fun; trying to solve the puzzles cooperatively added another layer of excitement and unpredictability to the mix. One of the standout features for me is that no two playthroughs feel the same, ensuring fresh and new experiences every time you dive in. A true five star experience, I'll be looking forward to the updates and next levels!

In the vast landscape of internet lore, there exists a phenomenon that captures the imagination like no other - the enigmatic and mysterious realm known as the backrooms. A surreal journey through the labyrinthine corridors of this digital underworld reveals a tapestry of intrigue, fear, and fascination. As a self-proclaimed adventurer of the virtual unknown, I find myself irresistibly drawn to the uncanny allure of the backrooms. The backrooms, a seemingly endless network of interconnected, dilapidated rooms and hallways, have become a digital subculture, with tales of exploration and eerie encounters spreading like wildfire across forums and social media. What is it about this bizarre concept that has ignited the curiosity of so many internet denizens, including myself? First and foremost, the backrooms tap into the primal human instinct for exploration. The idea of wandering through forgotten, decaying spaces, each room with its own unique atmosphere, beckons to the inner adventurer in all of us. The sense of the unknown, the anticipation of what might be around the next corner, fuels the excitement and adrenaline of the virtual explorer. The sheer creativity and diversity wi…
