Game is early access, but still in a beta mode. Game is fun, but if you go to the in game store, the next map will load and freeze and you'll have to exit the game and restart. Game is fun, but not ready for prime time. It's been out a couple of months and those issues should have been fixed.7 found this helpful
Polygons Tower Defense is a minimalist, somewhat dumbed down tower defense game that's also broken, at least for me. The ongoing dangers of Valve's disastrous Early Access programme, I guess. The unskippable tutorial requires you to click on an area outside the screen, and locks the UI until you do. Since it's impossible to click outside of the viewable area of the screen (and your mouse pointer is bound to the display area), this renders the game broken and unplayable. I know it's Early Access, but it's evident even basic testing was not conducted before this was dumped on Steam with a price tag on it. Unacceptable. The game is still being developed, (maybe the broken tutorial will be fixed and the game could become playable one day) but development is slow enough that the game appears to be headed to Development Hell. While there's still time before the game reaches the developers committed deadline to complete the game, it's only getting very small updates maybe once a month or so, and the updates are mostly empty. There's no reliable indication the game will ever be completed, which is another reason for gamers to avoid this. It's important to remember that only about…5 found this helpful

Actually a great game. Still in beta, so it is missing a lot of features that are promised to be coming soon(TM). Even so, I'd still recommend it just because it's got plenty of content for the price and is overall pretty polished, balanced, and fun. Even has multiplayer, but I haven't tried it so I have no idea how that works.3 found this helpful

Overall: Polygons Tower Defense is a very simple and functional tower defense game. It doesn’t try to innovate, but it delivers a clean and fast experience that works well for short sessions and quick completion goals.
