About Presence Lookout

Presence: Lookout is a "spot the difference" horror game - You play a surveillance worker, monitoring footage and looking out for anomalies. Anomalies can be anything from an object that has been moved to another location, rotated or even an unknown entity that shouldn't be. Report the Anomalies to win!

To file a report, Presence Lookout uses only your mouse to point and click (hold) on the anomalies, as well as your left and right keys to change camera, should you wish to. This control scheme means that the game is very easy to control and play for a wide range of people.

The game currently consists of:
- Regular content updates and bug fixes.
- 120+ Anomalies over 2 maps.
- 4 Difficulty modes.
- Language Support. I am looking to add more languages - Join the Discord Guild if you wish to help translate!
- Colorblind Mode.
- Horror Mode.

Our Plans:
- We have ideas for 14 maps, with a plan to bring many of those maps within the next year.
- Continue building the bank of anomalies across all maps
- To add more accessibility modes including Closed Captions, Text Scaling and more!
- Taking in all Player feedback and ideas. This means all bugs, ideas and suggestions will be reviewed for implementation!
- Player led Localization. Players are encouraged to assist in translation efforts!

Shop Smart![/url] Presence Lookout is a memory game with horror elements. You flick between camera feeds while memorizing the rooms and try to spot the 'anomalies' that appear throughout your shift from midnight until 6. If the anomalies start to pile up, your shift ends immediately and you lose. It's pretty fun, but it takes a couple tries to really get a lay of the land (for an average gamer like me at least, not a memory game aficionado). There's a setting called 'horror mode' which I immediately turned on when I started playing and haven't played without. Yes there are jumpscares, but they're used pretty sparingly and none of them have been what I would consider tacky. The worst case scenario in my head coming into this game was: "Okay I'm expected to just be staring at a screen, it sure would be a shame if this game was full of screamer jumpscares you'd see on old YouTube constantly." But there's none of that, at least not that I've seen. EDIT: Had a paragraph here addressing a few bugs, but a patch came out a day or 2 after my review. Huge p…
