About Midnight Monitor: Anomaly Watch
Watch out for the Anomalies. They're watching you, too...
Midnight Monitor: Anomaly Watch is a game that will keep you on your toes and make you question your reality. You are a test subject who has been forced to monitor cameras in a house that is rumoured to be haunted. Your job is to spot and report any anomalies that occur in the house, such as moving objects, disappearing items, electrical glitches, camera errors, and much more. But be careful, the anomalies are not only watching you, but they are also trying to stop you from reporting them. Most of them are likely harmless, but some of them are much more dangerous.
You currently oversee two different houses, and there are some oddities strewn around. They have mysterious and dark histories, with secrets that you might uncover as you play. Why are these homes such a playground for paranormal activity?
Using Unity 2023 and its bleeding-edge realtime dynamic lighting system, the anomalies are more striking, scary and dynamic than ever before.
Gameplay Features:
- 18 different types of anomalies (with more planned!)
- 2 Distinct locations with unique gameplay, with more in development
- A dynamic lighting system
- Over 300 different anomalies
- Game and Challenge modes that change the difficulty and the style of the game: normal mode, dark mode, black and white mode, or hard mode
- Mix & Match game modes for varied and thrilling challenges!
- Clous saving, stat tracking and achievements
- Future updates planned (Neighbourhood Watch, new levels, seasonal content, content updates & more!)
Midnight Monitor: Anomaly Watch is a game that will test your observation skills, your memory, and your nerves. Are you ready to face the anomalies?

An anomaly-spotting game, but not a looping architecture game. Well-made for what it is, and a good, fun concept at first. The different conditions like darkness or black and white don't really make the initial appeal last as long as the idea should, so don't go into it expecting to 100% the game like The Exit 8. I guess you're meant to just keep doing the same thing but slightly harder. It looks like the developer intended to add more houses (it's been in early access for 3 years now) and instead just made a permanent option to turn on Halloween decorations in one of the two houses. For the developer's goofy take on The Exit 8, play Aldercourt. For a scarier search of the same room over and over, try other developers' The Stairway 7 or The Cabin Factory.
Great IOOD style game, cant wait for the big update
This game is so awesome I genuinely forgot (or just never noticed or knew?) that it's an early access game. What's currently available already feels so polished and complete. Tons and tons of variety here in terms of achievements, anomalies, rooms, and modes, really driving up that replay value. I spent a ton of time on this and never felt bored from repetition. You can really customize the settings to make it as easy or as hard as you want. Controls are reasonable also. I think this is the second anomaly hunting game I've ever played, the first one being Aldercourt from the same developer. Unfortunately, this has ruined many other anomaly games for me. Some of them are good but most are nowhere near as nicely done as this one. Highly recommend this. Even at full price it's a steal.
Midnight Monitor: Anomaly Watch is a psychological horror experience developed and published by Viexi Games that turns the simple act of watching security cameras into a nerve-racking test of awareness and memory. Instead of relying on weapons or fast-paced survival mechanics, the game challenges players to carefully examine surveillance feeds inside abandoned and haunted houses, searching for anything that appears unusual. Every room initially seems ordinary, but as the night progresses, subtle changes begin to emerge, forcing players to constantly question whether something has truly changed or if their own perception is being manipulated. This slow-building tension creates an atmosphere that feels oppressive from beginning to end, rewarding patience and close observation over quick reflexes. The core gameplay revolves around identifying and reporting paranormal anomalies before they accumulate and cause failure. Players must memorize the appearance of each monitored location and recognize even the smallest alterations, from furniture moving unexpectedly to lights malfunctioning, mysterious figures appearing, objects disappearing, and far more unsettling supernatural events.
