About Print-in-Progress
Print In Progress is a cozy management sim about the simple satisfaction of running a 3D print shop. Take on orders, manage your filament, and watch voxel models come to life layer by layer. Ship your creations to earn cash, then reinvest it to grow your hobby into a full-scale workshop. Not every customer is in a rush. Decide how you want to manage your time:
- Fast Orders: High-pressure, high-reward. These need to be finished quickly but pay out a premium.
- Slow Orders: Low-pressure, lower pay. Perfect for when you want to take your time and enjoy the hum of the machines.
- Filament Management: Manage four different types of filament. The more complex the model, the more plastic it consumes.
- Auto-Generation: Unlock upgrades that will help you get filament easily so you can focus on the bigger picture.
- The Detail Slider: Go for a "blocky" fast print or a super-fine detailed model. High detail earns more money but keeps the printer busy much longer.
- Overdrive Mode: Need it done now? Crank the speed. Just be careful.. pushing your printer too hard increases the risk of a failed print!
- Cinematic Mode: Hide UI, get popcorn and lean back while watching the printer work. Becomes a satisfying time-lapse once your printer reaches insane speeds.
- Clean the Print: Satisfyingly break off the support structures to reveal the finished model.
- The Shipping Toss: Aim and flick your finished product into the shipping box. Try not to miss!
- The Upgrade Tree: Unlock new models, better printer parts, and helpful automation.
- Expand Your Fleet: Why have one printer when you can have four?
- Make it Yours: Decorate your workspace. Take any print from your inventory and place it on your shelves or worktable to make the shop feel like home.
- Engaged Mode: For when you want to lean in. Prints are faster, progression is snappier, and the shop is busy.
- Idle Mode: Turn the game into a "tiny Desktop Companion." Let your tiny 3d printer run as a cozy screensaver in a corner while you work or study, and check in on your prints whenever you need a break.
