About Procrastinaut
Stare down the vast abyss of the unkown until the abyss stares back at you, and the prolonged eye-contact is kind of awkward. Then do something about it! Like, not now, but very soon. Just one more good stare is not going to kill you.

A malfunctioning ship and the loss of most of your equipment doesn't even slow you down. What secrets will await you in the foggy expanse of this failed star? Excitement? Danger? Maybe there's snacks?

You're definitely not just putting your mission off, you're charting new territory! It's time to face the elements with nothing but a high tech space suit and a healthy curiosity.

"Procrastinaut" is more joke/"art" than game... sure, it looks like your basic GameMaker Studio asset flipped platformer but they at least tried to do something interesting with this... that is to say it's a "joke" game and instead of bothering to do stuff it explores the human condition of lazy procrastination. Fair enough, I guess, but we have to remember these joke/art games don't really offer anything beyond a few seconds worth of bemusement that someone actually spent $100 USD to put their joke up on Steam. Beyond that... nothing of lasting value for gamers, it's somewhat insincere, and it's the kind of thing that gives indie games a bad reputation. Because while the joke might even make you smile, there's nothing serious here for gamers. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad gra…4 found this helpful

Definitely a fun little distraction. All of the achievements work. One thing I should mention, is that if you have sensitive eyes, the red colours in the game might mess with you a bit, it did for me. Worth checking out for the absurdity alone.
11/10 would procrastinate again.
9.5/10 1. Don't Read Much about the game just go in 2. 6 Achievements to discover, don't read about them. 3. 1 hr or 2 to complete depending on RNG Waiting for part 2, not sure if it will ever come.
It's short, goofy fun. Can't complain. It's not that deep.
