RPG Maker strikes again! "Project "Fire"" is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. This RPG Maker asset flip is fairly generic but some modest attempt at a fan-fiction plot was made, involving chaos mage Alex and pathfinder Maya (the developers imaginary anime girlfriend), chasing a dangerous enemy across a world where magic has replaced technology, and tries to be "edgy" by making you do "bad things" to achieve your goals. I mean, Larian watch out, right? Ultimately, like all RPG Maker fan-fictions, the writing is pure cringe. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. Графика качественная, а сюжет затягивает с первых минут, но локации повторяются, а механика управления слегка запутана. Бой динамичный, но баланс сложен — иногда кажется, что победа зависит от удачи. В целом, достойный проект для любителей аркадных приключений, но с явными недочетами в реализации.
