About Project Parallel
Years after losing her parents at the hands of a totalitarian death cult, vigilante Nohla travels the multiverse foiling their attempts to destroy worlds. Cool concept, great voice acting! I normally don't care about story but the voice acting had me hunting for the blue chips to learn more about my parents.1 found this helpful
I love the story!! It's heartfelt, relatable, and very well voice acted. The world switching mechanic makes the movement feel exciting and high stakes. The main character's design is SO cool! Not to mention the music goes hard af. I kind of wish there were more abilities, but seeing as this is a demo I don't hold that against the devs; hopefully they'll be able to build it out more in the future. "Project Parallel" is is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product presumably also planned to be called "Project Parallel". It's a garbage, amateurish 1:1 ripoff of Mirror's Edge only worse in all respects and incredibly janky, if this advertisement is any indication. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not the Project Parallel full game, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Project Parallel" too. Usually the purpose of these advertisements is to get you to shell out money to the developer to buy the full product, but the developer hasn't bothered actually making a product you can buy, leaving this as an advertisement for nothing.
